Family In July

I had such a great time having my Uncle Clint, Aunt Kathy, and cousins Brooklyn, Kenlie, and Talin, visit us this summer up from Sierra Vista, AZ. We get to see them for sure every other Christmas and then hopefully every summer or so.
They decided to come up for about 2-3 weeks but ended up staying for about a month. Clint had to go home earlier though since he had to get back to work, but it was so much fun to have him here since I hadn't seen him in about 3 years. He is usually in Afghanistan for about a year at a time but is now home for good and we couldn't be happier about that!
He is such a funny uncle, I love him! My aunt Kathy is my dad's only sister and she is hilarious. She is my favorite aunt ever (I hope she reads that)!! I always love talking to her and she always gives great advice!
My cousin Brooklyn is now 11 and I cannot believe how old she has gotten. Kathy says she is just like me. She always takes forever to get ready, they are always waiting for her, she sits and admires herself in the mirror, and she loves to walk around in her underwear. Yep! That's my mini-me cousin for sure!! She is so funny and puts up with me giving her all my hugs!

Kenlie is the little wild one. She has so much energy and a funny sense of humor. She calls my Grandpa "Cranky Frankie" which is him to a T haha its so funny to watch her tease him. He deserves it haha! Then little Talan...is very scared of me! I have no idea why and I tried the entire time they were here to get him to give me a hug and he wouldn't.

I would chase him around and pick him up and he would kick and scratch and bite me haha! It was pretty amusing but all I wanted was a hug from him. Then on one of the last few days they were here I was over at my grandparents house and he walked down the hall right towards me and gave me the biggest hug! It was the best thing ever and I was in shock!
So was the rest of the family haha! Then he got down and ran away and never gave me another hug after that, but it was still a great moment for me!! We also went Cowabunga Bay for a day, boating up at Pineview, and out to dinner at Olive Garden which all the pictures are from.
I was so sad when it came time for them to leave but I am now going to try to find the time and money to go down and visit them for a week or so and that I also get to see them at Christmas time. I loved having them up here and being able to draw closer to them as family. Love you guys!!
