So I decided that I would blog about this wondrous occasion!! Today is the one year anniversary of me meeting the love of my life, Ray Liotta! Yes, it was the best day of my life and yes, he is 55 years old BUT...it was love at first sight. Ray Liotta came into the dental office I work at because he was in town filming a movie called Snowmen (yet to be released). My boss' sister-in-law was his personal driver while he was here filming and she brought him in to the office. I hadn't seen a bunch of his movies but I knew who he was. So he came in and I was so nervous because I had to try sooo hard to be professional and for those of you who know me know that I am a celebrity FANATIC!!! So I took him back and took an x-ray of his tooth. He asked if I knew what movies he was in and since I had only seen a few he told me my homework assignment was to go home and watch Goodfellas and Heartbreakers and that he would make sure I did my homework. So...of course I went home that night and watched them!! So the next day I'm at work and my co-worker was like "Ali...Ray Liotta is on the phone for you!!" Wow, no way!!!! Ray Liotta was calling me at work!!!! So I got on the phone and he was calling to make sure that I had done my homework and to see how I liked his movies. He said he wouldn't be coming back in today and said that he was going to MISS SEEING ME!!! AHHHH :) (He needed a root canal so we sent him to an endodontist to do the root canal and then he needed to come back for us to put the proper filling back in it...dumb I know, but lucky for me!!) Well a few weeks went by and I thought he was never going to come back in at this point. We just had never heard anything back UNTIL that day!! It was St. Patrick's day and let me tell ya, it really was a LUCKY day for me! He was coming back in!! So he comes in, sees me, and leans over the counter at the front office and is like "Have you ever had skin problems?? Your skin is beautiful and so smooth!! You are just so gorgeous!!" Wow, I was in heaven haha! Then we took him back to fill the tooth and he was like "Do you have a boyfriend? How in the world are you single? You are just so beautiful!!" Haha and he wasn't even high on the gas! The point of this story is not to point out the fact that I am beautiful but that RAY LIOTTA HIT ON ME!!! After a few more lovely compliments from the lovely man, we were up front talking and I said "Okay, I know this is really unprofessional of me, but can I get an autograph?" And he said "And well why not a picture?!" So I got both and it was the best day ever! But the story isn't over yet... A few weeks later I am at work and a guy comes in with a rose and a note for me. And the card says...
...But I couldn't freak out about it just yet because it was sent to me on April Fools Day. But I have interrogated everyone and no one will fess up!! So, as far as I'm concerned, Ray Liotta sent me a rose and how sexy is that? Haha It was true love and I will never forget that glorious day he came into my life. We are bound to meet again someday. I told my boss that if Ray calls and asks me to move in with him, I'm outta there! Happy One Year Ray Ray!!
P.S. I have decided I'm naming my little girl Railee (Ray-Li) after him! haha
P.S.S. I'm really not as crazy as this makes me sounds, okay well, maybe a little...
...But tell me this is not the most awesome story ever...
