When One Door Closes...

Another Door Opens...

I've had to let a huge part of my life go.

Though I thought I'd never have to feel

This pain again in my life,

This time around has been much different.

I've definitely learned a few things.

I've learned that I am stronger that I thought I was.

I've learned that each day is a new day

And it's up to me to make it a good one.

I'm allowed to have my sad moments

and cry about it all.

But I'm also allowed to be happy

and take this breath of fresh air.

I chose the life I have

And I know I'm strong enough to live it.

I knew that I was loved by many,

But going through what I have the past few weeks

Has made me realize just how loved I am.

I have the most amazing family,

group of girl friends, friends at work,

and life long friends.

I could not have made it through this without them.

I may be closing the door to the whole

Future I had planned for me,

But I know another door will open.

I just have to be willing to let go of my past

In able to move on to the life waiting for me.

I have always lived my life with no regrets

And that doesn't change now.

I will always love the memories and the laughter
And I could never forget that or him.
He definitely changed my life,
But I am a firm believer that
Whatever Happens, Happens for a Reason.
I will be able to overcome this hard time,
And just wait for the next door to open.
